For decades, we have advised IKEA businesses and other partners on all global insurance matters and reinsured selected risks originating from the IKEA franchise concept. Our advisory services cover multiple areas such as protection of assets, transportation, clients, and co-workers. Beyond this, we provide risk financing solutions to exposures around the globe, both IKEA related and others.

- In 2025, Ikano Insurance delivered another solid financial result, 12 percent above budget.
- The good result was supported by a strong Nat-CAT performance, despite the impact from wildfires in California in January.
- We experienced a major claim, a fire involving solar panels on the roof of a distribution centre in USA.
- The critical annual renewal, including the retrocession placement, was successful despite above mentioned claim and several other incidents at IKEA Industry.
- The overall strategy was confirmed, assuring a sound mix of the historical core combined with a continued growth of non IKEA related business.
- Our growth journey intensified, leading to a significant amount of new business as from January 2026.
- We are well positioned to deliver on our 2025-27 strategy targets with sustainability as a naturally embedded part.
