Doing more now than later

2024 was the last year of our previous strategy period and a year in which we reflected on our progress and considered the learnings to understand how we can continue to work for better business in the years to come and make our data and traceability even better, aligning it with upcoming regulations. It was also the year when we launched our new strategy for the period 2025-2027, for the first time integrating business and sustainability. For this strategy, each business has really deep dived into their relevant topics of how we can have a better impact on the world around us, and how the world impacts our financial goals. This will guide us going forward and we will greatly benefit from clear focus areas and KPIs that guide our diverse businesses.
When it comes to climate, we underwent a detailed review of our businesses’ Climate Transition Plans, closely linked to our business development. All of our businesses now have clear pathways and identified actions for our Group reductions. There is still much to be done, but we are focusing on doing more now than later and will continue to search for collaborations and opportunities to solve the challenges we face with our Scope 3 emissions. However, in September, SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) will come out with new standards for us to align with.
2024 showed us that it is more important than ever to stay true to our brand and follow our vision to create possibilities for better living. By working in an agile way, we can be there for the many people and design business offers that are relevant to the needs of today. To further support and stabilise our local areas, we also continued our focus on being relevant in our local markets, as well as supporting charitable projects in our communities
