Ikano Bike fundraiser
The Ikano Bike fundraiser was first introduced two years ago, when a group of Ikano co-workers from around the businesses cycled between Luxembourg and Malmö to raise funds for for World Bicycle Relief, an organisation that partners with rural communities around the world to provide bicycles to those who need them the most.
Last year, it was once again time to repeat this feat, but now the funds went to Mrs.Berta Kamprad’s Cancer Foundation, contributing to their important work supporting research and treatment of cancer diseases. The 600 km ride went from Asker, Norway to Älmhult Sweden and on the finish line, the happy fundraisers could hand over a check to the foundation of a record-breaking EUR 114,480!
This year, we’re once again cycling for Mrs. Berta Kamprad’s Cancer Foundation, as 20 crazy co-workers will pedal between our real estate offices in Sundbyberg, Sweden and Glostrup, Denmark. Cancer is a dreadful disease that affects us all in one way or another and we are proud to be able to contribute to this important research.
