For decades, we have advised IKEA businesses and other partners on all global insurance matters and reinsured selected risks originating from the IKEA franchise concept. Our advisory services cover multiple areas such as protection of assets, transportation, clients, and co-workers. Beyond this, we provide risk financing solutions to exposures around the globe, both IKEA related and others.

The year in brief
- We delivered another strong financial result in 2024, 10 percent above budget, despite increased volatility and some larger losses.
- In 2024, we also saw growth of new business, both non-IKEA-related as well as an increased offering for Ikano.
- On top, Ikano Insurance Advisory broadened its client base, offering tailor-made solutions for Nalka Invest.
- Market conditions in Re-/insurance remained stable. The Ikano Insurance Advisory and Ikano Re teams secured an overall good outcome for the annual renewals.
- From a sustainability perspective our Nat-CAT journey continued. In 2024, we offered an increased capacity supporting the closure of the protection gap, while results remained solid.
- We spent a lot of time linked to our Strategy for 2025-27, with sustainability as a naturally embedded part.
