The year in brief – Poland
- We’ve officially launched our state-of-the-art facility featuring 900 m² of office space, 400 m² of storage area, 600 m² dedicated to workshops, and 190 m² exhibition space. This marks a major step forward in our capacity for innovation and growth.
- We successfully introduced the first IKEA product containing 10% recycled foam content on the Dutch market – ASPSJÖKULLEN. Every step towards sustainability counts, and this innovation sets a valuable precedent.
- Our OMEGA mattress (by Weltbett) secured top honors in Germany’s prestigious IMTEST consumer evaluation. Recognised for its exceptional comfort, quality, and innovation, this achievement highlights the hard work and dedication of our team.
- We made our first delivery to the Moxy Hotel in Milan, marking an exciting expansion into new markets and opportunities.
- A brand-new children’s range for the IKEA project has officially started, opening the door for more creativity and innovation tailored specifically for young users.
The year in brief – Mexico
- Installed and commissioned the foam recycling process to enhance production efficiency.
- Successful implementation of three sofa families – Barslöv, Fridhult, and Friheten – covering eight article numbers.
- Increased sofa production capacity from 400 to 2,000 units per week, ensuring seamless supply during peak and holiday seasons.
- Achieved backup supplier status for IKEA, covering springs, foam mattresses, and Kivik/Friheten sofas.
- Recognised as an IKEA development supplier in the U.S. Self-Assembly Mattress project.
- Sustainable energy use: we’re proud to run our operations in both Poland and Mexico using 100% renewable electricity; this is part of our broader commitment to reduce our environmental footprint and build a more sustainable future.
